MOTHER'S PREMONITION.
• _- -*— STRANGE TELEPATHY CASE " Something is up. We shall hear of something directly," suddenly exclaimed Mrs Goddard. of Streatham, while seated at tea with her husband. She- was so upset that she could not finish the meal. Ten minutes later the news was brought that their son, Private Gilbert Vauphan Goddard, aged,, 19, of tho Ninth Lancers, had been drowned while bathing at Surbiton. At the inquest the father described the mother's strange premonition of her son's death, the coroner characterr ising it as a remarkable instance of telepathy. A verdict of " Accidental death" was recorded.
