PANIC IN AUSTRIA.
CUSTOMERS STORM SHOPS. / LONDON, October 10. The Vienna correspondent of the "Daily Chronicle" says the financial panic, has restarted. Customers are now storming the shops in Vienna. ■ They are withdrawing their money i and buying food -wildly, under the ] fear that 'shops; may run out of provisions through inability to replenish ; stocks now that 12,500 kronen go to 1 the £ sterling. Any people with money i are buying stocks before their money becomes valueless. Some are purchas-" ( ing for a year ahead, and many others t are feverishly purchasing francs, c marks, and dollars, in case the kronen should becomo worthless. Shopping has become a bewildering c process. Prices may double or treble e within a day. Many shops refuse to a sell more than a certain amount of f goods to one customer. •
