PARIS, July 26. Five persons were wounded, and twenty bruised m the Labour Congress fracas at Lille. Orders have been issued forbidding the entry of persons carrying arms. j Later. I The scenes at the Labour Congress i held at Lille were unparalleled. Con- ; gross was held m an immense winter garden, under a glass roof. The affray began by certain Bolshevik extremists j trying to eject a moderate named Dv- j moulin from the tribune. The riioder- j ates rushed to protect their comrade, i and the whole Congress was thereupon transformed into a seething mass of struggling and perspiring humanity, resembling an enormous football scrim- | mage m front of the tribune. Mon- j mausseau, the giant bull-necked secre- i tary of the Paris Federation of Labour, ] used his fists and feet against the moderates. Monmousseau's supporters I then seized the iron chairs and hurled I them into the ranks of the moderate ; defenders. Half a dozen revolver shots were fired, and four of the fighting ' delegates fell wounded. :
