- Dospite the raising of the blockade, 'British restrictions on German imports ■will remain. The ■Government will .shortly send consuls to Germany to .assist trade resumption. > LONDON, July 12.
The British Board of Trade h'as_ authorised, with certain' reservations, !-th« resumption of trade with Ger-ana-ny and German-Austria by means of general licenses. These will' not re.movo the restrictions upon payment of debts ana! return of property due to persons' in the above countries arising out of pre-war transactions. The li-oeii'se-3 also will not permit import; of goods included in various lists of. pi'ohibiion v-hich have been proclaimed, and which are jriofc covered by the general licenses now issued. Under the latter export licenses must be obtained in respect of lists A. and P>. None vri'A be is.Kised in respect of list.C. of pro.hibited exports.
