COMMONWEALTH STEAMERS.
(Received July 9. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Jury 8. The Commonwealth Line has ordered from dickers, Ltd., Barrow-on-Furness, tfiree turbine oil fuel steamers, 2(500 (?) tons, 520 feet long, 68 feet beam and 29 feet draft when fully loaded, having 900,000 feet cargo space, of which 4000 will be insulated. The first steamer- is to be delivered within 18 months, the second within 22 and the third within 24, and the fourth within 26. The vessels will be fully up-to-date.
