SHEEP DEAL CASE.

WELLINGTON, July 8. The Court of Appeal to-day delivered judgment in the case Murray versus Hopkins. This was a motion for a new trial removed into the Court of Appeal. The matter concerned the sale of some sheep, and the chief point in issue was whether there was a memorandum in writing sufficient to satisfy the Sale of Goods Act. The Court held that the motion for a new trial must be dismissed, and judgment entered for plaintiff v,in the Supreme Court for £562, with costs.
