WOOL SALES.

LONDON, July 4

Tho wool sales have concluded. There was keen competition throughout the series. Continental buyers operated freely for merino combings and scoureds. Prices for merino combings were fully maintained at a high level. Faulty sorts, especially carbonising sorts, attracted French and Belgian buyers, and prices advanced 10 ■per cent, compared with last .series. Fine crossbreds fully maintained last series' rates. Medium crossbreds strengthened during the series,, closing about equal to last series. Low and coarse crossbreds were irregular, and prices on many occasions favored the buyers. Shabby lots declined 10 ocr cent. Scoureds and slipes were in good demand, except low grades. Ten thousand bales of sheepskins wore offered to-day, and all were sold at prices fully equal to May rates.
