SOUTHLAND TIMBER MILLS.

"Regarding restricted train services, the secretary of the Southland Sawmilling Company said that unless the restrictions on the carriage of timber nre removed shortly mills throughout Southland will have. to clo=c, idling 600 men. The Chamber cf Commerce, has- decided to ask tho Government what is being done to remedy the coal shortage.
