MITCHAM-LYNBHURST MAILS.

On Saturday last, Mr W. J. Dickie, M.P., forwarded the following telegram to the Hon. W. D. 8. Mac Donald, to which he has not yet received a reply: "Cannot some provision be made for a daily mail service to Mitcham, Latiriston and Lyndhurst^ as by the present arrangements it is only delivered twice , weekly and seeing that the papers can be 'delivered by motor daily, 1 consider that the Postal Department ought to show a little more consideration to the County settlers and institute a like service.' As a country settler yourself when at home you know the; "disadvantages we are placed in. I hope you will give this matter your earnest and most favourable consideration."
