The following cases of sickness were reported to Dr H. Chesson, District Health Officer, in Christchurch for the week ended noon yesterday:—

Grey—Diphtheria 1, lethargic encephalitis 1. _ North Canterbury—Scarlet fever d, diphtheria 3, tuberculosis 2, puerperal fever 1, pneumonia 5, influenza 10..
