VICTORIAN NATIONAL HURDLES.
MELBOURNE, July 6. The V.R.C. Grand National Hurdle Race resulted:—Will Comfort 10.9 (C. Boyd) 1; Lady Rcigle 10.6 (Harris) 2; Suina 10.0 (Scott) 3. Seventeen ra*i, including Gladful, Beltane, and Pro Tern. Pro Tern led for the first round, when Tinana, Mount Miltsin, Pro Tern, and Explorer fell. Captain then led till Sandule took charge in the last round. Suma; Will Comfort, and Lady Reigle were on terms at the last jump, but Will Comfort, finishing well, beat Lady Reigle 1 by three-quarters. of a length," Suma being three lengths away. Beltane was fifth, and Gladful among the rear division. Time, smin 46sec.
