LONDON, July 4. At tli<y Henley regatta, for the King's Cup- Oxford university beat America.
For tho L«ander Cup,.America beat New Zealand by four lengths. In the Kingewood Sculls, seventh heat, Hadfield beat Kinnear, and in the final beat Massey, of the Rhine army, easily in smin 20secs, In the Hambledon Pairs final the Third Trinity, Cambridge, beat the Wattle Club.'
In the Leander Gup final, Leander beat America.
in the King's Cup' at Henley, the Australians led by a quarter of a length at the quarter^niile and steadily increased their leac? to a length at the three-quarter; mile. Here Oxford challenged, but made little impression. . The Oxford versus Cambridge boat race was abandoned owing to Oxford's severe struggle in the King's Cup race. The Cambridge second crew beat Oxford's second by a length.
