A SUCCESSFUL OPERATION
LONDON, July 5. The War Office reports, that MajorGeneral .Frascr, with British and Indian troops carried out a successful operation, capturing Bazan Pass, and intiicting heavy losses on southern Kurdish insurgents, who had been agitating' the northern borders of Mesopotamia. General Fraser rescued fourteen British officers and men who were imprisoned at Sulemaniyeh. j
