EX-SOLDIER SENTENCED.
LONDON, July 6
James Ryan, an ex-soldier, was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment on a charge of attempting to murder Private Algernon Worger, of the Otago Battalion, while the latter was in Oatlands 'Park Hospital, having lost a leg. Worger admitted misconduct with Ryan's wife.
