The New York "Tinaes's" Washington correspondent states:—-Official despatches say that the Japanese military commander in Trans -Baikalia protested to the Chinese Government against the movement of Chinese troops to the Mongolian border, e.s being a violation of the Chino-Japan-ese agreement. The Chinese Government • replied that the troops were sent to the Moni golian border merely to prevent- disorders in the main districts.
