RUSSIA. GERMANS DEFEATED NEAR RIGA
COPENHAGEN, June 30. The Lettish Press Bureau states that the German Baltic Landwohr were three times 'defeated by Esthonian and Lettish troops last week and were practically destroyed. Lettish troops have reached Jagel, nine miles from Riga. The Germans are evacuating Riga, where the Needra Ministry was dissolved and the War Minister arrested. Needra fled to Libau, where he was arrested, but escaped, and is now refuging with Imperial German troops encamped six miles from Libau.
