FIRE AT FLAXMILLS.
WAIROA, July 4. Tho scutching shed of the Waaroa Flaxmiils, Ltd., was totally destroyed by nre this morning, 'ihe hie started at seven o'clock, and tmrnt all the morning. The damage is estimated at close oil £30U0. ' it Ts not Known how the lire started, but it is suggested that it was due to spontaneous combustion. Tho insurances are not at present available, out it is understood tnat tho company's loss is a serious one.
