PROFESSOR BARRADEN.
Already much, interest is being displayed in the visit of Professor Barraclen to Ashburton on Monday and Tuesday next. On bis last visit here the Professor met with n- splendid reception, and it is expected that a good house will greet him at the Theatre Royal oh Monday evening next. Professor Barraden is putting a- man into a hypnotic sleep on Monday evening iii full view of the audience. He will then remain in that condition until. Tuesday evening at the .commencement of that, evening's performance. During Monday night and all day Tuesday the man wil| be on view to the public either, in the Theatre or a public shop window. The big hypnotic feature for Monday evening will be ".The: Ashburton Cup," > under hypnotism. In Christehurch during Cup week the^ Professor'put' the New Zealand Cup on under hypnotism, and roars of laughter could be beard ringing from the theatre. The box plan is filling rapidly at the Bristol Piano Company, and intending patrons should book their sea-ts. There is no booking fee.
