If Uiey decide not to charge more than sixponce ior admission the .question of the amusement tax will not affect them. Tho Canterbury and Manawatu Agricultural and Pastoral Association's have decided to bring the matter tinder the notipe of tho Government,, and the ; members oi tho Canterbury A.-and P. Association—Mr J Deaths (president), Mr R. W LotJihea-d (vicepresident), and Mi O 15 Pembciton secretary)-—appointed in leprosc-nt tho Association, loft last nighi foi Wellington, where they will join the representatives, appointed by Uio Manawatu Association and wait on the Prime Minister, the Ministfi of Finance, and the Commisssonoi of Tuxes.
