HEAVY FIGHTING IN PROGRESS

An East African official report states:—The main enemy forces, recreating from Mbemkuru, have reached Masiwa, abandoning their hospitals.) We occupied Rufonda and Lukeledimishion, and forced the Germans towards Nyangao. We occupied Nyangao. on Wednesday. Two Nigerian battalions became temporarily detach,ed and suffered heavily; we .joined .them on Thursday and repulsed .counter-attacks. Fighting is proceeding.
