MAYFIELP.
The Mayfield Quoit Club played a match on Friday, July 13, for a silver cup presented by Mr John Woods. The games were 21 up, and the following players took part:—Thomas Howden (scratch), E. Richardson j(8 points), G. Richardson (10), C. Johnstone (12), G. Foster (15), W. Robertson (7), W. Cornmc (9), S. Anderson (10), H. Harvey (15), B. Toner (15). After a very interesting contest the winner proved to be C. Johnstone. ' The scratch man, who has already won three gold medals in this club, was unable to overhaul the limit men.
