Jessie Moir, a boardinghouse keeper, at Palrnerston South, was fined £50 for sly grog-selling. George Wilson for delivering liquor, having reasonable ground to suspect that it was intended for consumption, was fined- £20.' The Magistrate said that systematic sly grog-selling had been indulged in.
