THE TENTH BALLOT.

POSTPONED FOR A* MONTH.

WELLINGTON, July 23. Owing to the Government Statistician being deluged with applications for certificates of enrolment and notices by Second Division reservists of change in their condition, it has been decided not to hold the tenth ballot this week as originally intended, but to postpone it for four weeks, when a double ballot will be taken to fill vacancies in the Thirty-fourth and Thirty-fifth Reinforcements.

The alteration will make no difference in the mobilisation and regular despatch of reinforcements from the Dominion.
