ENEMY CLAIMS.
LONDON, July 21
A wireless German official message states:—"The artillery activity in Flanders is extremely violent. Enemy advances in the region of Lombaertzyde and eastward of Messines, Gavrelle, and Monchy faflecT.
The French three times fruitlessly attacked south-west of St. Quentin.
We captured part of the French positions north-east of Craonne, but heavy nocturnal counter-attacks forced us to abandon some of the trenches.
