The Official Press Bureau states:— "The Food Controller-announces that the maximum prices oiMive cattle tor . army consumption will be as follows:— September, 74s per cwt; October',. 72s per cwt;' November and.'December;' 67» per cwt; January, 60s per cwt. Tho" maximum prices will be fixed/ and corresponding steps taken, for the control of. butchers' profits. ",The price of flour will bo standardised to enable bread to be scltf at 9d a quartern loaf." ,
