FARM LABOURERS' WAGES.

LONDON, July 22
The '' Daily News '' says that . the Government opposes Mr G. J. Wardie's amendment to the Corn Production Bill, by which he is seeking to secure an increase in agricultural labourers' wages from 25s to 30s, notwithstanding that the Bill provides farmers with a large bonus to stimulate production.
