ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET.

CHRISTCHURCH, July 11. At the Addmgton market there were moderate. entries of stock in almost all departments. Fat cattle were firmer, and fat sheep showed an advance at tho opening, but towards the end of the sale eased off again. There was a good demand, for store sheep, and no change in fat lambs. Store cattle were practically unsaleable at the prices asked. Fat pigs were in big demand, and stores were easier.

Slieepi Store Sheep.—2-tooth ewes to 335, 4 and 6-t66tK to 355, fi and 8-tooth 27s to 44s 7d, s.m. 24s 7d to 35s 6d; 2 and 4-tooth wethers to '31s, 4 and 6tooth"29s 9d to 32s 6d; ewe lambs 22s 3d to 275, wether 23s lOd to 255, ni.s. 15s to 28s.

Fat Lambs.—Extra prime to 38s, prime 28s to 31s, medium 2-xs to 27s 6d, lighter sorts 23s 3d to 24-s 6d.

Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers to 55s 9d, prime 36s to 45s lid', lighter 32s to 35s 9d, merino 26s 6d to 31s 3d ; extra prime ewes 53s 3d, prime 35s to 43s lOu, medium 30s 6d to 34s 6d. lighter 23s to 29s 6d, merino 17s t0.225-:9d: Cattto.
