FEILDING, May 9. Inforniation ha°s been received that a_ Maori boy named George Rangi, aged six or seven years, whose parents reside at Awahuri, near Feilding, accidentally shot himself at Corbett Road, New Plymouth. The Maoris in the locality were attending to their usual farm work when they heard a loud re- ,' port, and, on running back to the house, found that the boy had shot himself with a double-barrelled gun with which he had evidently been play,*ng. He died soon after.
