(Received October 19, 2.35 p.m.) LONDON^ October 18. > In the House of Commons, Mr 11-ed-Ljaond moved: —"That the'present sysf^tem of government in. Ireland is inconsistent with tho principle for which the Allies are fighting, and was mainly responsible for the rebellion." _, He said his object was to draw attention to the unsatisfactory situation in Ireland, which was full of menace to the aspirations of Ireland, to tho good understanding between Britain and Ireland, and also to the biggest interests of the Empire.
