BILL TO EXCLUDE GERMANS

Lords has,'pas9od a Bill ,to\revoke.the codicil of the will of Mr Cecil Rhodes, providing for scholarships at Oxford for German students. Mr Rhodes believing that the undertaking between .Britain, Germany and America woald render war impossible. The preamble of the Bill states that events have happened showing that the testator's anticipations have not been realised. It is proposed to substitute twelve scholarships open to students within the British Empire.
