The weather to-day }jas been beautifully fine. Itain continued throughout the night, but cleared earfy this morning. Up to 9 o'clock this scorning 2SJpoiuts of r.'iin,. was registered. The terrestrial thennoinetcr at the Domain registered nine degrees of frost this morning.
Our "Mayiielc! correspondent writes that the rainfall at Msyfield as recorded by the school garage total-led ti.47 inches from May 26 to May 30! The gauge also registered. 5.22 inches tor the month of May.
Tho Government Metoorologist'e forecast to-day was as follows:—The indications arc for s.outh-oasterly winds, moderate to strong, rind backing by oast to nortJi. There 'is a prospect of fair to cloudy wonthcr. Tiiere will probably bo ;■• hard frost to-night. Barometer little movement.
