GRAIN YIELDS.
AUSTRALIAN STATISTICS. (Received June 1, 10.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 1. The Government Statistician's preliminary estimate of the 1915-16 wheat yield in 67,323,390 bushels, an average of 16.9; barley (malting) ,_ 70,000 bushels, mi average of 16.7 ; oats, 1,410,000, an average of 22.9. All the yields show a largo increase. The previous year's wheat yield was only 12,830,000 bushels.
