CHRISTCHURCH, June 1. The Canterbury Park Trotting Club's winter meeting opened to-day in wrotchedi weather. There was a small attendance. Results: — Ladies' Bracelet.—Batard ■ 1, Imperial Ann 2, Sherry 3. Won by two lengths. Time, 4min 7sec. Peninsula Handicap.—Hannah M. 1, Goldstream 2, Albert Wallace 3. Won by a neck. Time, smin 15sec. King George Handicap.—Admiral Wood 1, Princess Sherwood 2, St. Kevin 3.' Won by eight lengths. Time, 4min 55sec. Lyfctelton Handicap.—Branston and Captain Stanley (dead heat) 1, Young Tohu 3. The two leaders finished 10 lengths ahead of Young Tohu.
