PRESIDENT WILSON'S IDEALS. SCATHING BRITISH PRESS ., OUiIMENT. LONDON, May 30. The Washington correspondent of tho "Morning Post" says that if-President Wilson can make peace or associate himself with an arrangement ot tho terms of peace his re-election is as-
sured. ({T The "Morning Post" says:— It is an unfortunate- coincidence that 1 resident Wilson is tie voting his skilled oratory to the subject of peace while tho Allies are spending.their best blood m mortal conflict. Wo do not desire that the issue of tho war shall serve the ends of American politics." British newspapers comment sharply on President Wilson's statement that the United States has no concern m the causes or objects of the war.
