WAR PENSIONS.
WELLINGTON, March 10
Forty-nine applications from soldiers for war pensions, were considered by the Pensions Board last week and dealt with as follows:—Pensions 18, allowances 28, refused 1, adjourned 2. Pensions were as follows:—Two at £91 per annum, two at £78, seven at £52, one at £38, and six at £26.
Three applications from dependents were dealt with. A mother had her pension increased from 10s weekly to 15s, and two children of a Maori soldier killed at Gllipoli were granted pensions of £13 a year each. The orphan child of another soldier was granted 7s a week-
