The Rev. W. \J. Elliott returned •.yesterday from Auckland, where he lias been attending the Methodist Con#.£ereno9. Mr Elliott's successor as superintendent of the Ashburton circuit will be the Rev. G. Frost, of Pukejkohe, Auckland, who will enter'upon ibis duties here on April 16. The .Rev. '.Mr Elliott will leave for his new charge ,at North Shore, Auckland, about .the :first week in April.
