PERSONAL.
Mounted-Constable Dunn, who has been stationed in Wellington during the past three years, has been transferred to Ashburton. Ho takes the place of Constable B. 11. Kidd.
Chaplain-Captain the Rev. J. 11. Burgin, who has been appointed Anglican chaplain to the\ 3rd , ; and 4th" Battalions of the ; New, Sjealand Rifle Brigade , Jias received instructions from the Military Headquarters ,to report, for duty as early as possible, so as to go into camp with the battalions when they are called up. Chaplain-Captain Burgin will leave Ashburton on December 16; and will close hi-s ministry at St. Stephen's on the preceding Sunday.
