ROUTE MARCHES BY SPORTS BODIES.
WELLINGTON, October 20. At a meeting of sports' bodies representatives held.to-night, Dr Newman, M.F.';-'presiding, ..Oaptain Donald-Sim-son, New Zealand' Engineers, who was wounded at the Dardanelles, was present, and advocated the institution of weekly route marches . by all sports' bodies in the Dominion,-^ as an incentive to; recruiting.' It was'-decided to write to all sports - bodies and associations, urging that this suggestion be adopted.
