(From Our Own Correspondents.) EIINDS. There was a good attendance si I tbe I fortnightly ■meeting of Loyal Hindii Lodge, 1.0.0. F., on Satiirday evening. ! The sum of £'6 was passed for sick ! pay. Three new members wereinitiated into the Lodge, which is becoming numerically strong. A hailstorm was experienced on -Tuesday evening. No amount of damage was done, bub the rain which followed. was very beneficial. A frost dufiup' the night blackened tho potatoes and damaged the early fruit. The local shearing shed was to have ' opened tho shearing .season to-day, but it has been postponed till Friday.
