The High Commissioner reports:— ' LONDON, October 19. In the course of the night three German grenade attacks at St. Bois-en-Hache, north-east of Souchez, were completely repulsed by infantry solidly installed. A hurricane oi" artillery on enemy 1 batteries stopped an intense bombardment on our position at Eparges. A group of aviators bombed, on the nights of October 17 and 18, tho German aviation grotind at Burlincourt, north-oast of Chateau Salins. Hangars and shelters wore visibly demolished.
