LAN HAMILTON • GOES HOME

LONDON, October 19. The War Office announcos that Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Monro has been appointed to command the forces at Gallipoli. Sir lan Hamilton is returning to England to report. Lieutenant-General Sir W. R. Birdwood commands, pending Sir Charles Monro's arrival.
