! STATEMENT BY MR HOLMAN. (Received October 20, 9.55 a.m.), SYDNEY, October 20. In the Assembly, Mr Holm an tabled a list showing that 63 persons of German birth are employed in the service. The departmental cliiefs reportod;that th 9 conduct and loyalty of the majority wore good. He said the Commonwealth Government had not attempted to ascertain how many Germans and Austrians were in its employ, and that no State had taken action against such employees.
