Mr Tennant, in the House of Commons, stated that approximately, there were 25,000 British prisoners in Germany in September. Fifty Australian nurses, who had done most valuable work in Egypt during the early rushes of wounded men, are idle in England. At one stage, e;i<?h nurse in Egypt tended 700 wounded men. When the superior officers wore retailed to .Australia/ the nurses were invited to volunteer to come to Engliind and establish the No. 10 Australian Hospital.
