EXCURSION TICKETS will be issued _to Timaru from Christchurch, Fairfield, .. and intermediate stations on 20th October; from Christchurch and Rakaia, and from Asliburton, Oamaru, and intermediate stations by trains, arriving at Timai'u up to 11.30 a.m. on.2lst and 23rd Octo-1 ber.. On 21st October the afternoon train from Timaru to Ashburton will start at 5.15 p.m., Ashburton arrive 8.8 p.m. On 23rd October a special passenger train stopping at certain stations to pick up passengers for Timaru Racecourse, will leave Christchurch at 8.5 a.m., Ashburton 10.14, and arrive Timaru 12.12 p.m. This train connects at Washdyke with a special train Timaru to the Racecourse. A return train, stopping;, at Washdyke to pick up passengers and,where required up to Ashburton/inclusive, to set down, also at Chertsey and Rakaia to set down, will leave Timaru for Christchurch .at 6.45 p.m., Ashburton 8.46, and arrive.
