WAR IN THE AIR.
A ZEPPELIN RAID. ; BOMBS DROPPED^N LONDON. , FORTY-TWO~^CASUALTIES. The High Commissioner reports:— LONDON, October 14. . A Zeppelin raid was made yesterday erening over a portion of London. A certain number of incendiary and explosive bombs were dropped. The material damage done was small. A fire reeulted, but was quickly put out fey the fire brigade. The Admiralty will issue a statement to-day when the particulars are available. At present it is only possible to say; that no public buildings were injured.
The casualties so far reported are: Two- women and six men killed, find -about' 34 injured. \ With'the exception •of one soldier killed, all were civilians.
