LONDON, August 11

A* city group, headed by Mr Richard Tilden Smithy has purchased the German Combine's Swansea Vale ZincSmelting Works. It is the new company's intention to increase the output of spelter from 5000 tons to 25,000 tons per annum. The supplies will be drawn from the Burma zinc mines. The plant will be a facsimile of the Germans'. City people consider this acquisition an advantage over the Zinc Corporation and the' Broken Hill companies.
