iSUCCESSFUL RUSSIAN ATTACKS. ', PETROGRAD, August 10. An official communique says:— "In the Caucasus, the fighting on ! Saturday and Sunday developed along the whole front from the river Thortuin to the Euphrates. Wo attacked the Tartandagh ridge and occupied a. pori tion of it northward of the double pass of Meryhemir. Our -cavalry in the direction of the Euphrates charged and sabred 'many Turks and captured eight officers and" 300 men and much material."
