' FIVE MORE MEN DETAINED. *

DUNEDIN, July 29

TVo soldiers who are suffering from & mild attack of cerebro-spinal meningitis, and also nine contacts, have been quartered on the Hospital Board's property at Wakari, where a guard provided by the Defence Department is on duty. Twelve more men reported at the hospital to-day,- and five of them were detained pending investigation, and wilt be sent to Wakari.

Of 19 men whose-'cases have been investigated, there are several who have been discovered to be "carriers." The investigation of cases of suspects has i not yi>t been completed.
