HAYWARO'S PICTURES.
"Lil o' London," is the title of the "star" film of tho new programme which is to be screened at His Majesty's Theatre this evening and to-mor-row evening. The production is from the studio of th,e London Photo-Play Company, and a powerfully-construct-ed drama of London slum and society life—tho two extremes—will be pictured. Some good characterisation work should/be presented. The "Topical Gazette" will feature scenes and episodes in animated form from the Old World. "The Phantom Thief" will bo the second best drama on the programme-. This play, which is tho Dramatic Mirror prize drama, was written, but was nob completed, by Mark Swan. A prize of 1,000 dollars was offered for the best ending of it. Tho prize was ! won by Miss Clement Moore. It is a powerful play concerning tho painting of a portrait, and what came of it. "Picturesque California," is one of a. series of views of tho great sunny province of America. Among other views will be the famous Yosomito Valley. | The two comedies will be "William Henry Jones's Courtship," and "Hogan's Aristocratic Dream."
