BOMBARDMENTS AND MINING.
The High Commissioner reports :-^— LONDON, July 26 (4.30 p.m.) Artillery actions continue on many parts of the Allies' front, and also trench fighting with grenades. ._ French airmen bombed the military station at*Nantillois, north of Montfaucon. j PARIS, July 27. , /An official statement says:— ' ■ ' "Cannonading has diminished in the Artois region. A few heavy shells were thrown into Arras. 1 "There have been mining operations I on the Perthes and Beausojour front, and at Vauquois, to our advantage. "There was a violent cannonade in the Bois le Petro. Pont-a-Mousson was bombarded, also Bandesap."
